Random Workout

If you're like me, then you've probably been doing the same exercises since high school with very little variation. And in doing so, you're gains are either minimal or non-existent.

This is likely due to your body adapting to the exercise resulting in you being stuck in a sort of limbo state. When this happens, its time to grab your favorite preworkout meal and use my random workout generator below.

Simply pick the number of workouts you want and my robots will handle the rest!

How to begin your random workouts

Before you get started with your fresh new randomized exercise plan, consult with a trusted physician. And, if you don't have access to one, listen to your body.

There is a big differece between the soreness caused by a tough workout and pain caused by an injury. If something hurts too bad, don't do it! Big biceps and sculpted legs aren't worth disabilities and sky high hospital bills.

With that disclaimer out of the way, we can beging working out. If you are fortunate to have a few hours to spend in the gym, feel free to grab 10 or more exercies. But, if you only have an hour or less stick to 5.

When I rolled my randomizer I got these five exercises.

  • Kettlebell Goblet Squat...3 sets of 9
  • Dumbbell Shrugs...6 sets of 14
  • Seated Bent-Over Rear Delt Raise...6 sets of 19.
  • Dips...4 sets of 20.
  • Dumbbell Bicep Curl...4 sets of 12.

This workout was a mixture of push, pull, and lower body workouts which is great for me as I have never done all 3 in one day.

If you have similar luck, make sure you schedule some rest days after the workout as your quads, biceps, delts, lower pecs, and triceps will be burning.

I plan on hitting the gym with one of these randomized workout plans at least twice a week. If you do too, send me a message on Twitter @devmatt954 and let me know how it went.
