Are the Saucy Nuggs from Wendy's any good?

Wendy's has been innovating its buns off as of late and as a result, we the consumers, have been treated to some truly delicious menu items. The latest entry to their chicken nugget line up are the Saucy Nuggs.

These chicken nuggets are basically the same ones they use for their non-spicy variant, but they come in a handy black tub with a clear, dome shaped housing allowing you to sauce and toss to your heart's content. The current flavors available are:

Of these options, the best, hands down are the Honey BBQ nuggets. Wendy's has always had some of the best BBQ sauce around and paired with the dippable Blue Cheese provided, you'll be in heaven.

On a side note, be sure to visit a reputable Wendy's if at all possible. I visited a less than stellar Wendy's to pick up some Saucy Nuggs and when I asked for a side of Blue Cheese, they literally gave me Blue Cheese crumbles...the kind you put on salad. If you see graffiti and trash scattered alongside the building, do not visit the establishment. This concludes my Public Service Announcement.

Wendys Saucy Nuggs Hack

To give yourself a larger supply of Saucy Nuggs at a much lower price, simply order a single serving of your favorite flavor but ask the cashier to add extra sauce to them. Next, order a plain 6 piece nugget with your meal.

Since the sauced and un-sauced are the same, simply add the plain ones into your saucing tub and start shaking them up. You'll save few bucks and still have the same saucy goodness. To kick things up a notch, throw a little Blue Cheese into the mixture.
