How many slices of pizza should I eat if I'm on a diet?

There is no magic number when it comes to pizza slices but if you're trying to hit a daily caloric deficit sticking to two slices of medium pizza is a safe spot. Keep in mind that you should factor in things like your activity level and total remaining calories before throwing pizzas down your gullet.

What chain offers the healthiest pizza?

Pizza and healthy are two words that generally don't go into the same sentence. Pizza is generally packed with super greasy cheese, sauce, bread and whatever else you throw on top. Pizza is seldom what most would consider "healthy" but some chains offer lower calorie options than others. Here are the big chains with the lowest calorie slices of pizza.

How to incorporate pizza into your diet

If you're early in your weight loss journey and finding it hard to remain discipline, stay away from pizza! The dish is simply too easy to obtain, affordable and tasty for the average person to resist. When you can grab two large boxes of cheese or pepperoni pizza from Little Caesars for less than $20 its hard to justify that bland grilled chicken and veggies in your fridge.

If you want to still enjoy something pizza-like with plenty of cheese, I've unlocked a special recipe that I will only share with you my dear reader. I call it the Protein Pie. Here's what you need to make it.

  1. Any lo-carb keto friendly tortilla - Even the large ones are roughly 110 calories so skies the limit.
  2. Your favorite low fat cheddar cheese.
  3. A sauce of your choosing - I use low calorie BBQ sauces like Sweet Baby Ray.

Once you have the ingredients simply spread your sauce of choice on the tortilla. Next sprinkle a liberal amount of cheese on top of your sauce. Don't go too liberal with the cheese as those calorie add up quick. Finally, toss it into the air fryer for around 3 minutes or until the cheese is full melted.

When your pie is fully cooked run a pizza cutter over it to make 8 slices. I've found that eating food in slices tends to trick my brain into thinking I'm eating a lot more than I am.
